Mr. Tiernan has lived and worked in the Renton community since 1989. He served as chairperson for the IKEA Renton River Days community festival and was given the festival’s Outstanding Service Award in 2003. Chuck is in his 10th year on the board of Communities in Schools of Renton and is a member of Renton Rotary. He was honored in 2002 as an Outstanding Citizen of Renton.
