Ms. Teal has lived in the Renton community for over 25 years. Ms. Teal has been active in PTA for 12 years; including 4 years on the Renton PTSA Council. She is currently the chair for the Education Committee at the Renton Chamber of Commerce and has been a mentor for 3 years with Communities in Schools. Ms. Teal also was instrumental in Renton promoting Simple Majority and volunteered for Citizens for Renton Schools assisting with promoting the eventual passage of the recent school levies and bond.
