RENTON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Renton Community Foundation was created in 1999 as a mechanism to, 1) expand philanthropy in order to help meet the ever-growing need for resources in our community, 2) to connect donors to the causes they care about most, and 3) support and strengthen local non-profits.
Designed to be flexible, yet responsive, today the Renton Community Foundation manages over $3.4 million and nearly 40 separate funds for a variety of worthwhile causes in the greater Renton area. And we’re growing all the time!
How is RCF funded? The majority of the money managed by community foundations is designated for other purposes and not theirs to use for operations. Therefore, RCF relies on a small management fee (1%) off all funds on account, interest income off its own funds, and contributions for unrestricted purposes.
Philanthropy is a powerful tool. It’s true! Charitable gifts can change lives, restore hope and transform communities. Yet, the need continues to outpace the current level of giving. Our goal at the Renton Community Foundation is to change that! Perhaps you can help.
RCF CORPORATE PARTNER PROGRAM
Our Corporate Partner Program is a primary way RCF can bring unrestricted dollars into the Foundation while being a good business partner (providing exposure for a full twelve-month period to a local business).
It’s a win-win situation.
How you can help
The Renton Community Foundation invites any business or corporation to become its annual Corporate Partner. Your unrestricted gift will not only help RCF meet its objectives to expand philanthropy in the Renton area; it will help RCF maintain operations and plan for the future. For your support, we offer your company the following recognition for one year (twelve months from date of the gift):
Acknowledgement as our Corporate Partner on all available RCF letterhead, brochures, newsletters, annual report and website.
(Some collateral material may have been printed by the time a
commitment is made. If so, RCF will make a reasonable effort to include the
Corporate Partner’s name and logo on these materials through other means.)
Invitation to all Community Foundation events.
Ex-officio seat on the board (attendance but no vote).
Opportunity to share the podium at the annual Circle of Giving Awards Celebration in January.
Lead story in one issue of the newsletter.
Business ad in each issue of the newsletter (for the length of your financial commitment.
