Greeting Card/Tribute Gifts

The Renton Community Foundation accepts individual gifts in honor, or in memory, of a friend or loved one. This can be a wonderful way to pay tribute to someone important in your life. There are three ways to make a Tribute Gift: |
ONLINE
You can make a tribute gift by using your credit card online at our website. Click on
to access the secure, online payment form. You may leave your gift unrestricted, or designate your gift to one of our funds by clicking on the drop-down list of funds. Then, be sure to indicate the honoree by filling in the Tribute line. If you wish this person to receive notification of your gift, please send us a separate email giving us that person’s full name and address. You will receive an acknowledgement with the amount of your gift for tax purposes. A letter announcing your generous gift (no amount is given) will be sent to the honoree. |
GREETING CARD KITS
The Foundation offers greeting card kits to companies and organizations who wish to promote tribute gifts in honor of someone they know. Full kits are available for $10 and include 18 gift cards honoring birthdays, special accomplishments, thank yous, anniversaries and memorials. When the kit is used, the donor fills out the gift sheet, indicating what fund the gift is designated to and who the gift honors. The donor then mails a special card alerting their friend/loved one that a gift has been made in their honor. It’s a terrific way to show you care to someone who has everything. The donor will receive an acknowledgement of the amount of their gift for tax purposes.

GIFT ENVELOPES
The Foundation has gift envelopes available that include a spot to identify if the gift is in honor of someone. It also includes a space to provide us with their name and address. An acknowledgement letter is mailed to the donor for tax purposes. A second letter can be sent to the honoree if the name and address information is provided, but no amount is given.
